RIOHS is engaged in research and takes part in the multidisciplinary and international scientific debate on health and social care services. It monitors developments in the legal-economic social fabric and compares experiences and rules in EU and non-EU countries, with the aim of intercepting new unfulfilled needs and meeting them.
RIOHS works out innovative, socially sustainable solutions, directed at improving care and welfare systems, with a view to respecting and safeguarding human dignity. In a more general perspective, RIOHS promotes health protection in all its expressions, in the framework of fundamental rights of individuals as such and within social patterns where their personality unfolds.
